We can see India as a Developed country when we.....
1. Eliminate the corruption
Corruption is because of two reasons - Greed of some officers and Urgency of work. First can be checkmated by fixing timelines, publishing list of required documents, random scrutiny of properties earned by officers irrespective of receipt of complaints against them. Some people due to urgency of work or to get the work done quickly offer bribe to officers which is also one of the reason and it can be avoided by implementing standard operating procedures.
2. Abolish or change the Caste / Community system
People were divided into communities / castes based on their profession those days. Now, different professions emerged but still following the same old system. New system shall be implemented or abolish the total system. While watching sports everyone is Indian and no one thinks of caste of the players, but caste comes into picture at the time of entrance into education, govt. jobs and elections.
3. Promote Agriculture
Farmer is important as equally as a soldier. Soldiers sacrifice their lives in Border whereas farmers sacrifice their lives due to financial pressure. Once compare the facilities provided to soldiers with that of farmers.They shall be encouraged not only at the time of elections by giving loan waivers but also by providing support of agricultural scientists, technology, education to their children and the Right to decide the Prices of their Agricultural Produce just as Businessmen.
4. Create Entrepreneurs rather than Employees
More and more schemes for promoting entrepreneurs have to be made by establishing regional centres to provide Technical, Financial, Marketing support etc. Every student pursuing graduation shall be made aware of these schemes through SMS and E-mails.
5. Improve Indigenous Industries
People are habituated to buy low cost Chinese products. Due to Globalisation, We may not ban these products for a long time. Conduct Technology exhibitions and invite entrepreneurs, increase
the scale of production, conduct quality checks to the imported products, make the necessary laws to improve Quality Control Systems.
6. Recognise the Young Talent
Most of the parents are forcing their children to focus on education as if it is the only option for career. Lessons of inspiring personalities and successful failures shall be included in curriculum. Most of the youngsters are busy in playing mobile games now-a-days and we are underutilising the talents of youth of our country.
Cricket is so organised that people are able to remember the names of all players, coaches, chairman etc. Every sport and activities like Painting, Music, Dance etc. shall be organised in that way by conducting inter-school, district wise, state wise competitions and giving good cash prizes. Necessary budget allocations shall be made to provide nutritious food, training and recognition to all the talented sports persons.
7. Improve Legal System
Laws shall be amended and strictly enforced to gain trust of the people. Even the almost proven cases are taking several years Eg. Nirbhaya, Kasab etc. This is not only in criminal cases but also in civil cases. People are hesitating to file cases and honest people are not feeling secured which is also a reason for brain drain. We were able to make some flexible laws for attracting foreign investors then why can't we make such laws for our people ?
8. Promote Transparency
If one party comes into power then scams made by other party comes into picture. Why ? Because a political party in power conceals the misdeeds of its members to retain the power. Sometimes it may happen also because of fraudulent cases to disrepute the other party. This needs to be addressed by making necessary laws to publicize the details of properties held by every public representative and their related parties and trusts run by them on yearly basis, reasons for increase in value. All the departmental procedures shall be made online as far as practicable.
9. Change in People
People always expect government to be accountable and responsible for everything. They feel that we are paying taxes to government and so it is government's duty. Sometimes they don't even exercise their right to vote on election day in-spite of declaring it as a holiday. They shall come out of this mentality. Remember, we can question someone when we fulfill our duties.
