If your system has crashed and you have tried options like Uninstalling latest updates, system restore, reset PC keeping files or removing all the files, cloud download, local reinstall and none of the options have worked then here is the solution to reinstall OS using external USB drive.
- Take a pen drive having at least 8GB free memory.
- Visit link Windows 10 media creation tool and click "Download tool now".
- Download it directly to the pen drive but not to do copy and paste from downloads or other folder.
- While downloading Accept the terms and conditions,
- One can do the above activity from any PC / laptop. Follow the below document.
- Insert the pen drive loaded with media creation tool to the PC / laptop that requires OS reinstallation.
- Go to Advanced Options --> select "Use a device" --> Select "USB drive".
- If the USB device cannot be detected by the system, try other USB ports.
- Go through the below document for detail steps.
If you face the error like media drivers could not be found in the process, watch both the videos below completely and then decide which suits most for your issue and then fix.

After following this process, I had lost only the files and apps that were stored in C drive. After 3 days, I have received Windows 11 update, which is installed successfully. I have installed all the required software after updating to Windows 11.
