How to pin a website to taskbar ?


Do you know websites/webpages can be pinned to taskbar ? Sounds something new, Right ? Let us get on to it:

Browser: Microsoft Edge

Steps:

  1. Open the website/webpage you wanted to pin
  2. Go to 3 dot menu at top right corner
  3. Go to More tools  ->  Pin to taskbar
  4. Select Pin in confirmation pop up.
  5. You will be able to see concerned icon on the taskbar now .

Browser: Google Chrome

Steps:

  1. Open the website/webpage you wanted to pin
  2. Go to 3 dot menu at top right corner
  3. Go to More tools  ->  Create shortcut
  4. Select Create in confirmation pop up.
  5. Concerned icon appears on your desktop now.
  6. Right click on that icon and select Pin to taskbar
  7. You will be able to see concerned icon on the taskbar.
